A wife, mom and entrepreneur, Araba has more than 20 years of strategic marketing, change management and communications experience, leading her own firm, Seven Sages Global, and working with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, nonprofits and government agencies.
Her commitment to community runs deep — serving on the boards of Safe Kids Georgia, Best Buddies Georgia and the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club. She is also a member of Junior League of Atlanta, Leadership DeKalb and United Way VIP. She’s rolled up her sleeves with Habitat for Humanity, metro Atlanta Firefighters, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Atlanta Mission.

At Oxford College, one of the first independent decisions I made as a young adult was to join Rotaract, a global service org that provides young adults (18-30 yrs old) with opportunities for service, leadership development and professional networking.
Years later, I'm not only an active member and volunteer with the incredible humans of the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club (MARC), but I also serve on the MARC Board as Chair of Programs.

I joined The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. (JLA) because of their reputation for advancing women in leadership and positive community impact through volunteer action and training.
Each month, I join fellow JLA women in working with My Sister’s House, an overnight shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness.

Safe Kids Georgia, led by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta , is dedicated to keeping Georgia kids safe. This includes car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries and accidental deaths.

The South Fulton Parkway Alliance (SFPA) is a private, non-profit corporation (501c3) that serves as a clearinghouse for many activities affecting the corridor along the Parkway.
Members include property owners, developers, community groups, state and local development agencies, the Fulton County Planning Department, and others who meet monthly to share info, discuss proposed developments, and form positions on issues that affect the Parkway corridor. Some of the issues include land use, zoning, residential and commercial development, corporate relocations, and government relations.
United Way’s Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP) is designed to develop and enhance leadership skills and increase diverse volunteer participation in nonprofit board and leadership positions in Greater Atlanta. VIP gives participants the tools to serve as effective board members of local nonprofit agencies.
Emerge Georgia is the state's premier organization that recruits and trains Democratic women to run for office.

The Fulton County Citizens’ University is a 10-week intensive training course that provides residents with a comprehensive overview of county government.
