My name is Araba Dowell, and I am honored to be a candidate for City Council – District 2 in the City of South Fulton. I am proud to call South Fulton home, where I have raised my family as a wife and mother.
But my decision to run is about more than my personal story, it’s about our community. District 2 is one of the main arteries of our city, home to some of our most well-known roads, corridors, and neighborhoods such as Butner Road, Welcome All Road, Stonewall Tell, Cascade-Palmetto, West Stubbs, and Enon Road. These areas have long been the anchors of South Fulton, and I am committed to protecting and strengthening the quality of life we all value.
That means ensuring smart growth, responsible development, and open communication between the city, developers, and residents every step of the way. Transparency and accountability will guide everything I do.
