Araba Dowell has worked tirelessly to make metro Atlanta a better place for all. She has been a proud resident of South Fulton for more than 20 years. She is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years of strategic marketing and communications experience. Her impressive resume includes work with Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and more. She has operated her own Public Relations and Marketing firm for 20+ years: Seven Sages Global. 

Araba's commitment to community is demonstrated from her service and impact throughout metro Atlanta communities as well as, nationally, with advocacy, civil rights and social justice. She serves as a board member of Safe Kids Georgia and the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club. And is an active member of Junior League of Atlanta, Leadership DeKalb, and the United Way VIP. Her volunteer work over the years has been with Habitat for Humanity, Firefighters in metro Atlanta, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Atlanta Mission / My Sister's, House + Restoration.  In addition, she is a woman of faith, and mom and wife and is currently sponsoring and providing mentoring opportunities to a Morehouse Student from Cameroon.
